North Korea ignores all threats

North Korea has ignored all threats and sanctions from the West, mainly from the United States (US), and yesterday insisted on maintaining its challenge by firing a ballistic missile back into the Sea of Japan, in what is its first such test after two and a half months without making a single release.
The Pyongyang regime confirmed the shot and reported that it launched a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile called Hwasong 15.

"We will take care of it (...) It is a situation we will handle," said US President Donald Trump, while Secretary of State Rex Tillerson opted for moderation and assured that "the options diplomatic are still viable. "

The government of South Korea has determined for the moment that the projectile traveled about 960 kilometers and reached a peak of 4,500 kilometers, which would be the maximum height reached to date by a North Korean missile and would indicate a new and dangerous progress for the program of arms of North Korea.

The expert David Wright, from the US scientists Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), said the missile could have traveled more than 13,000 kilometers from being launched with a standard angle, a distance more than enough to reach Washington or "anywhere continental US ".

After the launch, South Korea, the US and Japan have requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council that could be held on Wednesday.

Seoul also responded to the Pyongyang action by taking just five minutes after detecting the launch of a missile test near the eastern maritime border with North Korea.
